I was getting messages calling me a stupid bitch, telling me to fuck off, calling me insults like dumb and naive. I tried to talk about this in the sub but it was a barrage of vitriol that made me feel so low. I can go there and be free and I know a lot of others feel this way.
I suffer with health conditions and depression, Sims is my little safe haven. Sims for a lot of us is an escape from the world. I get there are so many issues with EA and the game needs fixes and bugs addressed but why attack the players who enjoy it? Why shoot down their excitement?
I really enjoy playing the game but every time I post the comments are soaked in negativity. I’ve had a really awful experience on The Sims Reddit and the negativity is overwhelming and drowning.
